Checking that the heating oil complies with the specifications.
When restoring a heating oil to service after a long storage period in a tank feeding a boiler or a stationary generator, it is worth checking that the product complies with the customs, administrative and inter-union specifications for heating oil. To do this, we check the specifications that may change over time:
- Moisture content standards NF ISO 6296, NF EN 12937 which must be less than 200 mg/kg
- Water and sediment content standard : NF ISO 3734 which must be less than 0,10 % (m/m)
