Standardized methods of fluid metering are used to monitor fluid cleanliness. This method is important because, although relatively time consuming and expensive, it is the reference method for judging other methods. It is applicable to any control of solid particulate pollution of fluids used in hydraulic transmission systems, as well as jet fuels.
This standard consists in filtering by depression a known volume of fluid through a grid membrane in order to retain solid particulate pollution on the surface of the filter.
In aeronautics, hydraulic circuits need a high level of cleanliness. We therefore look for the degree of pollution by solid particles: metal chips, grains of sand, dust . This method is the subject of a Qualification Certificate of Special Processes Laboratories SAFRAN No. AQPS 490 and follows the standards NF L 41-101 and NF L 41-102.
From a sample you have given us, we will carry out an analysis of the pollution of your hydraulic fluid. This result allows us to authorize or not the operation of a circuit or the jet fuel, and to know the possible causes of an anomaly.
